Shree Guruji’s Swanakshetra Birthday Celebration
Posted On : December 2nd, 2022 To : Our ActivitiesLike the previous years, this year also, we celebrated the Swanakshetra Divas of Shree Guruji Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji Maharaj. This year, the Swanakshetra Divas was on 4th August. There was Rudravisekam in Rameswarm Temple Bandhapara, the birth place of Shri Guruji. All other activities were conducted in Bhubaneswar. On this auspicious occasion in the morning, there was Mahamrutunjay Yanjna in Kapileswar Temple, Shri Guru Paduka Puja and Havan followed by Sundarakanda Path and Shrimad Bhagavat Gita complete chanting at Mangala Mandap, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar.
On this auspicious occasion, there was Annaseva (food distribution) in old age home and slum, distribution of Gifts in the Kanya Ashram (Orphanage for Girls), Narayan Seva (worshipping the poor as the form of God, offering gifts and foods to them), Gau-Seva and Gau-Bhandara (Contribution for the mother cows) in Balighai, Puri and Bharatiya Gau Sambardhan O Anusandhan Sansthan, Chandaka, Bhubaneswar. Plantation was done in fire station vasti, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar.
The evening Satsang was graced with the august presence of Shri Hari Chaitanyaji Maharaj, Risikesh, Swami Shiva Chidanandaji Maharaj, the Divine life Society, Brajabandhu Baba, Bhagavat Ashram, Puri, Damodar Das Babaji Maharaj, Sj. Rabinarayana Mishra, the Ex-Administrator of Shri Jagannath Temple, Puri, Sarat Bhai, Nilachala Saraswat Sangh, Puri and many other eminent monks of Odisha. One hundred Sadhus joined in the evening Sadhu Bhandara. This programme was conducted successfully and more than six hundred people took part in the event.
